Research and Teaching Interests
Dr. Afroz has a background in HIV/STIs as well as LGBTQ+ health. He specializes in the implementation of systems level changes in order to achieve health equity. Dr. Afroz is dedicated to public health education by bringing real world experiences and lessons into the classroom in order to prepare students to work in the field.
