Biography
Since completing residency training at Palmetto Health Richland in 2001, Dr. Boston
                                 has practiced in the Midlands in various clinical settings and spent most of her career
                                 helping to educate learners as an adjunct clinical faculty member of the Department
                                 of Family and Preventive Medicine beginning in 2005.  She was awarded the American
                                 Academy of Family Physicians Degree of Fellow in 2017, and just prior to returning
                                 fulltime to the Prisma Health Department of Family and Preventive Medicine- Midlands
                                 in 2021 as Vice Chair of Operations and Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine,
                                 she served as the Ambulatory Care Residency Director at William Jennings Bryan Dorn
                                 VA Medical Center.  
She was recognized nationally as a 2020 Veteran’s Health Administration Shark Tank
                                 semi-finalist for her project on improving quality and reducing lab costs at WJB Dorn
                                 VA Medical Center and was 1/20 inaugural members of the Veteran’s Health Administration’s
                                 National Primary Care Leadership Development Program.
 
Dr. Boston’s clinical interests include population health, quality improvement, preventive
                                 medicine, and healthcare disparities.
