South Carolina is recognized as a national leader in terms of survey methodology, youth-centered resources (e.g., NYTD website ), youth outreach (SC NYTD Youth Voice and youth focus groups) and practice-centered training. South Carolina considers the data collection to serve not only as a means to drive future program development but also in the present as a means of intervention and maintaining contact with youth.
