Master of Social Work
ADVANCED STANDING PROGRAM
Students with a BSW degree from an accredited undergraduate program may apply to enter the college's advance standing program. Admission is on a selective basis and is based upon the academic preparation and personal qualifications of the applicant. Once admitted as an advanced standing student, a student enrolls in a summer program of course work.
During the summer program, students complete a total of six courses (three each summer session). Students who successfully complete all six integrative seminars (12 credit hours) with at least a 3.0 (B) average are permitted to enter directly into the advanced year, thus enabling them to complete the MSW degree in a minimum of twelve months of study.
