Announcing The
College Of Social Work 4th Annual Social Justice Day 2007
Given the University of South Carolina, the College of Social Work and the social work community commitment to creating and sustaining a just and peaceful world, it is the intent of the USC College of Social Work through the I. DeQuincey Newman Institute for Peace and Justice to plan and implement this day of ongoing focus on justice.
Dr. Ruth Gale McRoy, University of Texas at Austin, School of Social Work will be the feature speaker at our 4th Annual Social Justice Day. She is an internationally recognized adoption and foster care specialist and has been involved in adoptions research and practice for many years. This day will provide a common focus for all of the College of Social Work students, alumni, helping professionals, faculty (field and classroom), and staff.
