Inaugural I. DeQuincey Newman Lecture on Peace and Justice

First DeQuincy Newman lecture set for April 27, 2006

The second I. DeQuincy Newman Lecture on Peace and Justice will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the USC School of Law Auditorium April 28. The Honorable Matthew J. Perry, Senior US District Court Judge will be the speaker.

The I. DeQuincey Newman Lecture series was established by the USC College of Social Work’s I. DeQuincey Newman Institute for Peace and Social Justice with the intent of examining and highlighting peace and justice from diverse perspectives, also to honor the legacy of Isaiah DeQuincey Newman, a Civil Rights activist, state senator, and minister.
