CHAMPIONS OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AWARD-2006
APPLICATION FOR CONSIDERATION
PURPOSE:
This award was established to honor individuals and community organizations that promote the vision of the Reverend I. DeQuincey Newman and the mission of the I. DeQuincey Newman Institute for Peace and Justice.
ELIGIBILITY:
Any individual or community organization that promotes the well being of low-income children and families in areas of housing, health, education, leadership and community development is eligible for consideration.
CRITERIA:
The Award Selection Committee will review all applications received for consideration.
A nomination statement of 500 words or less should be submitted on detailing the reasons that the nominee should be the recipient of the award.

Be sure to include your name as well as the name of the person or organization you are nominating on the top of each additional page. All applications must be received by I. DeQuincey Newman Institute for Peace and Justice, College of Social Work by 5:00 p.m., March 25, 2006.
Awards will be presented on April 7, 2006 at the 3nd Annual Social Justice Day.
