To receive any type of financial aid from the University of South Carolina, you must complete the FAFSA form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov . Be sure to mark the appropriate boxes to express your interest in loans and/or work study. Students who are awarded work study should send a copy of their Student Aid Report (SAR) to:

The DEADLINE for applying for SUMMER financial aid is APRIL 1st. (Advanced Standing students should note this date.) The DEADLINE for applying for FALL financial aid is JULY 15th. However, students who wish to be given early consideration in order to receive the maximum amount of financial aid must apply by APRIL 15th.
