The Commission on Accreditation of the Council on Social Work Education votes to reaffirm accreditation of the College's MSW Program for eight years, the maximum possible.

The Commission on Accreditation of the Council of Social Work Education recently voted to reaffirm accreditation of the MSW Program of the College of Social Work for eight years. Dean Poole praised the faculty for the quality of the Self-Study Report. "I have been a faculty member at five universities. The self-study document prepared by our faculty is the best I have ever read. For the Commission to reaffirm a program's reaccreditation for eight years, the maximum number, speaks volumes about the quality of our MSW Program. It's why students throughout the nation and world come to the University of South Carolina for the MSW degree."
